DIY, recycle jeans skirt bag

Hi!

This jeans skirt had become too small... not so funny!

But, it was really funny to make it useful again :)

I played around with That´s Crafty! Multi Surface Paints and stencils.

I decided to add some black too for contrast as you can see in the 

photos of the finished bag.

And here it is filled up with stuff :)

I just sewed the bottom of the skirt together and then made the bottom of the 

bag wider by taking in the bottom corners.

I´m not that good at sewing, but I think it´s fun to do for my own needs.

I´m very pleased with this summer bag!

I used a lot of scrap pieces of paper, lace and burlap in the background.

Cooking metallic paint with the heatgun gives awesome texture I think!

Card for Rubber Dance May Challenge

Hello!

Welcome to my blog today, and welcome May!

New month means new Rubber Dance Challenge. Look at the colours this month

- I just love them!

This is my card inspired by this months colours.

I started out with a piece of photopaper coloured with Brushos.

I did some background stamping with stamps from the Rubber Dance sets

Whale Wishes and Retro Beach.

I stamped the whale onto watercolour paper, coloured it with Distress Crayons and cut it out.

I used a white Posca pen to add details to the background.

Here´s my finished card!
